All Souls' Day

2 novembre 2016, mercoledi

Commemorazione dei defunti
Pray for those who have died.

Today, I join two different All Souls' Day Services, get two different feelings.

At lunch time, I join the Eucharist of All Souls' Day in All Saints' Cathedral. Part of Service, Reverend ask all to write down the name our miss person(s) on the card, then he will speak their names in the pray time. In that moment, I cry. Because I think two my beloved indeed, my grandpa and my mother.

At night time, I join the Eucharist of the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed in St. John Cathedral. The Cathedral Choir with Orchestra sung Requiem by Gabriel Faure in the Eucharist.
In the Sermon, Reverend says even though choir with orchestra sung Requiem in the Service, but this is not a concert, this is not memorial. This is the day to count the Blessed people, because they have salvation from God.

One thing happen after the Eucharist and make me pleasant.

After Eucharist and every one are leaving, the stranger who sit in front row of me. When he walks my side and says to me, "You are the good singer." I'm very surprise and thank you for his appreciate. Perhaps I should be say, thank you God. YOU give the great gifts through this strange angel to me.
